What is Steel ?

What is Steel ?
What is Steel
Answer:   Steel is a blend achieved by incorporating iron and another chemical element, typically  carbon. Carbon and other elements act as a solidifying element, eliminating dislocations in the iron atom crystal lattice from sliding past one another. Varying the amount of alloying elements and the form of their presence in the steel controls properties  such as the ductility, hardness and tensile strength of the resulting steel. steel is also less ductile than iron. When it is used, its content in the steel is between 0.2% and 2.1% by weight, depending on the grade. Other alloying elements sometimes used are chromium, tungsten, vanadium and manganese. Steel with additional carbon materials can be made stronger and harder than iron.
